Students Gear Up For PSR Exams

Kuala Belait - In preparation for the major PSR examinations, 63 Primary Six students from 21 primary schools in Belait District took part in the national PSR Quiz preliminary level yesterday morning.

The PSR Quiz, organised by the Co-Curriculum Department at the Ministry of Education, was hosted by Panaga Seria Primary School and was conducted throughout the district. Each school was represented by three students and selected winners would represent the district in the finals, which will take place in the capital.

Questions were based on related learning subjects such as Mathematics, Geography, History, English and Bahasa Melayu to assist students with their upcoming PSR examinations early October.

Students were given 45 minutes to answer 60 objective questions at the preliminary round of the competition, which was held for the sixth time this year.

The quarterfinals of the competition will take place on August 14, while the semi-finals and finals will be held on August 27 and September 5 respectively. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
